It is with great sadness that we announce that a beloved member of our parish family for many, many years, +Olga Sawchuk, has fallen asleep in the Lord.  +Olga was the wife of +Dr. Steven Sawchuk, our esteemed former choir director, and the daughter-in-law of our former pastor +Fr. John Sawchuk.  +Olga was herself a member of the Alexander Koshetz Choir for more than 60 years, and often was a featured soprano soloist. +Olga was a member of the Sisterhood of the Blessed Virgin Mary and a prominent member and supporter of the Ukrainian Orthodox League.  May her memory be eternal! 

+Olga's viewing will be on Friday, October 7, from 6:30PM - 8PM, with a Panakhyda being served at 7:30PM at the Cathedral, 6740 N. 5th Street in Philadelphia.  An additional viewing will be held on Saturday, October 8, at 9AM. The Funeral Service will begin at 10AM.  She will be laid to rest at Oakland Cemetery in Philadelphia.

Members of the Alexander Koshetz Choir are invited and encouraged to sing for the Panakhyda and Funeral Service.
