Dec 14th- regional UOL event with local parishes in Bethlehem PA. Attend the Bethlehem Christkindlmarket.
Dec 27th - we will see Christmas Decorations in Philadelphia during the day and have Philadelphia game night in the evening. A fun day and evening for all ages
Jan 4th - Kolyada - Caroling
In 1955, at the urging of the Hierarchy, the Ukrainian Orthodox League (founded in 1946) was re-organized into Chapters. It was at this time that the St. Vladimir Chapter of Philadelphia was formed.
Our chapter sponsors a variety of activities at the parish each year, including coffee hour, social activities, and fund-raisers. Chapter members actively participate in Lenten Retreats and National UOL Prayer activities. Our chapter supports the UOL's Lynn Sawchuk-Sharon Kuzbyt (LSSK) Scholarship Fund, named after past Philadelphia Junior UOL Chapter president Lynn Sawchuk of blessed memory. The Metropolitan John Scholarship Fund and other UOL Annual Fund Drives are also supported.
The Philadelphia Senior UOL Chapter currently has more than 80 members!
